Brake problem

Got about 6 blocks from my house and while on the brakes coming to a stop I heard a small pop and the brake pedal went to the floor. The brakes will not pump up pressure. With my foot on the floor the brakes will work enough to eventually bring me to a stop. They will even hold me on a hill. But they work very slowly. Once again, no peddle pressure at all, just goes to the floor.

I had to make my club meeting tonight, so I never got a chance to look at it.

Any ideas??

Hey It could be your booster, that would be my guess if your not leaking anything.

Fluid res still full, or is has it leaked out?

I haven't yet had time to look at it.

If my booster was bad, wouldn't I still have pressure at the pedal? It literally just moves to the floor with no pressure.

Bet it is the MC. Might be just one end of it I would bet the fronts are gone.

Sound like the MC to me also because that happened to me bout 6 months ago in mine, but mine gradually went out

Bet it is the MC. Might be just one end of it I would bet the fronts are gone.

That seems plausible. I know the rears aren't in perfect operating shape

I'm just glad it happened to close to home.
