Thanks for reading, Newbie here, first post ! Purchased a '97 LX450 a couple weeks ago and need help already!
A few nights ago my wife is checking in on the kids, and then yells out "I think someone is stealing your car!!" I jump out of bed, look outside and see the brake lights are on. I run outside and the crusier is empty. Press on the remote a couple times and the lights go off.
This has happened 2 more times since then. Seems to always happen around 3-4 am (not every nite, unless they are turning off by themselves and I don't know). The last time, the remote didn't turn the brake lights off, pressing on the brake did. Any ideas?
--Also, could the brake lights being on for a few hours drain the battery that is 4 months old? Since the weirdness with the brake lights, I've had problems starting. Turn the key and nothing but the dash lights(no sounds, clicks, etc). Try a few more times and then it turns like there was never a problem. Thanks
