Quick question:
My brake fuse keeps popping when I depress the brake pedal, even with the key off.
When I disconnect the connector in the picture (you can see the green with white brake wire) and depress the pedal, nothing happen - the fuse does not pop. Does this mean the bad wire is further down towards the tail lights...or, since the circuit isn't being closed thru the tail light, is the normal state.
I'm trying to determine exactly where the brake wire short is happening.
Note: I have some water issues and my drivers floorboard gets pretty after heavy rain. I'm working on that one too and realize the two are related. Note 2: My windshield is original and no bubbles are present when I do the soapy water / air compressor test.
