So here’s the predicament. I found a good deal for TJM shocks and springs. Put them on my truck earlier this week. It kept rear suspension in back. I didn’t expect that big of a lift, (4”) total .. that is what I got!
Took it to a local shop they said I’d have to lift the back but ALSO get new upper control arms in the front and some stuff to lowers because they have seized. This is more than I want to do right now for various reasons.
So I have done some research. I’d like to be level because I want to avoid replace the control arms. So what advice do you all have?
My initial thoughts are:
1. Go back to stock springs and put a coil spacer on front, keep tjm shocks on. 1.5 spacer I assume.
2. I ordered but can still cancel OME springs (2702). Keep TJM Shocks and keep rear suspension the same (stock); does this level?
3. Upgrade rear springs for now, maybe upgrade shocks later this summer. (But I don’t know of a work around for the control arms?)
Right now, the truck sits (ground to wheel well: 35” back/ 37” front).
Thanks!
