Well, I was sorry that I sold my M416 in December, so the other day I bought this one. Overall, I am not that excited about it, but it was a good deal so I grabbed it. It's getting the blast treatment and paint. It is a civilian model, so it doesn't have a pintle, but it does have a tailgate. Also, the guy I bought it from is really old Willy's jeep collector and told me that the original Bantam tag was worth more than the trailer. Is that possible?

Alex, not for nothing, if you plan on modifying it, check into the value with some Willys folks before you cut................ ;)

A clean up and repaint won't hurt the resale unless that's the original paint now. Looks good! :)

It has been painted over a few times. I have no plans on cutting it. I just saw a thread started by the guy I sold my black trailer to and he cut the back of it and added a Jeep tailgate. I almost want to cry.:crybaby:

I have a great Sandblaster. $300 to blast and paint the trailer. The guy does awesome work. He did my last one too.
