I just bought a 92 fj80 and got it home, champane with brown and tan leather interior.... complete truck not wrecked.. was told it had a bad motor..turned out to be a radaitor hose and some vacum leaks... bought it for the frame axles and the 3fe..

I am going to part the rest to try and get some of my money back.. if anyone needs anything pm me.. I am putting a list of stuff together to post in the classifieds... just thought I would offer up here first

will post some pix once i resize them....

Nice score, I need to find a 96-97 like that. Seriously.

Too bad I don't need anything from that era truck.

would the headlights by any chance be the same as a 96? As of my last trip this week I have holes in the glass of BOTH of my headlights. :frown:

thought about aftermarket replacements like these, but they seem to be hard to find.... https://forum.ih8mud.com/80-series-tech/400966-need-new-headlights-aftermarket.html

They may, but I am not sure. Might have to ask in the 80 section to be sure. By the way, that sucks. How was the trip otherwise? Still liking the 80?

I would like to find a set of the Depo headlights that Ive been reading so much about on here, but they seem impossible to find. I may replace the worn out corner lights with these.... 91-97 TOYOTA LAND CRUISER FJ80 CLEAR CORNER+BUMPER LAMP: eBay Motors (item 220639907443 end time Aug-17-10 23:20:24 PDT)

The trucks been great! I think its been off road more in the last month Ive owned it than any other time in its 14 year life. I have so many things I want to do to it, just no time... I would like to take care of the Pin 7 mod and CDL switch so I can use low gear unlocked. Today I'm going to call around town about having the AC dryer moved up. I don't want to start building my bumper around some dumb canister if I can help it.

Driving down the freeway at 70-75 is something I'm not use to in my trail rig!:grinpimp:

ain't it cool
