when bolting to a boxed frame, like rocksliders for instance, how do i go about doing it? would i drill all the way through bolt sides of the box, and through bolt it? couldnt that squish frame? does a sleeve get inserted into the frame to stop it from collapsing, if so how? any help would be appreciated. Thanks:bang:

i guess i will just make some landing plates with threaded holes that will get welded onto the frame, that i can bolt into.

i am having a good talk with myself. i was thinking sean, on slee's bumper the side supports bolt on the drivers side to one captured nut, and they say for added strength to through bolt and use the provided sleeves to prevent crushing the frame. if those sleeves are not welded into the frame, the inside of the frame is just floating over the sleeve and the bolt acts like it is just bolted to the out side only. it would be much stronger if the sleeve was welded into the frame. the bolt is then attatched to the WHOLE frame. not just the outer shell.you follow me, me.

Drill the backside of the frame the size of the bolt and the front of the frame the size of the sleeve. Weld the sleeve on the frontside then grind flush.

thats what im talking about. its gotta be welded. gotta b
