Trying to install driver side door hinges on 73 fj40 but can't seem to get the bolts in. It feels like the bolt holes are in the frame but I can feel a solid plate behind the bolt holes. Any ideas on how to bolt these hinges on, does that plate I feel have threaded bolt holes in it?
