Hi, we are about to start on some major body work were we are planning on cutting out a lot the cancer metal and replacing it with new.
We have been looking at a lot of small gas welders that will fit mostly our budget and needs. We have been looking at the Eastwood welders and wanted to know if anyone out there has this type from Eastwood and what do you think of it.
Eastwood MIG135 Welder
Just this welder model, we have info on the Millers and Lincoln's from other folks but not the Eastwood.
Thanks

Whose consumables fit it?

consumables

We have a request to Eastwood about that. We do not want to be stuck buying tips, nozzles, wire from them. There was mention somewhere about standard wire use and replacement parts. I would assume they mean something like standard is going to Home Depot and picking up some size .30 tips or wire made by Lincoln or whomever would be no problem. I hope they let us know soon on that.
Thanks Poser

Thank you for the reply.
Can you tell me a bit more as in how it spot welds and seam welds. Is the flow pretty good. Can you weld thicker metals with the flux core side of the machine.
We just have a lot of cutting and replacing to do and want to made dang sure we get something that will fit our needs. We were thinking of the 220 version but if the small 110 does good we can save our money for the Toyota.
Thanks you
