Another dumb question, are the cups which hold the body mounts just tack welded in the three spots within the dish? I need to replace one.

I reckon a good fabricator could hammer out a cup with a dolly. Better still If they had a press. It is just sheet steel about 2mm with 6 little holes, 3 for drainage , 3 for spot weld.

I doubt that you can still order them, but maybe, didn't look.
I took a spare from a wrecked chassis, just drilled out the spot welds, cleaned up with wire wheel, sprayed with weld thru zinc then spot welded back on, pretty easy.

I am cleaning up this chassis foot by foot when I have a spare mo.
Wire wheel and a little sand blast with hardware store sand, slowly. I am going to flip her over after I do the topside. I prefer rustbullet to kbs, it is a bit less pedantic, then killrust epoxy on top.

My build is so rediculously slow and amateur that I have only but snippets of questions smattered throughout ih8mud. Constantly blown out by other builds , I pale in comparison, truly.

Ok mate, I'll try to get something together when closer to a home stretch. Your on!
Getting the non rolling chassis into a inner suburban backyard was herculean I must say, trailer was an inch from parked cars either side of the street, squeeze...
