Body Lift messed up my shifter...

I put a 1.5" body lift in my FJ80 and ever since my shifter is goofy. I have to push foward on the shifter even tho its in Park in order to release the ignition key.

Is this something I can adjust from inside if I remove all the shifter bezels? Or should I expect to crawl on my back and do some adjusting from under the truck?

Just hoping someone here knows before I go tearing into the truck, just to find out its something I need midget hands to reach.

Adjust the shifter cable at the transmission. It isn't that hard to do but it helps to have a second person in the truck to move the sifter as you make adjustments so you don't have to keep getting in and out to check your adjustments. And don't go by the little indicator in the shifter since those rarely line up right with a vehicle as old as ours. I tried to adjust my indicator and after about 3-4 days of driving it wasn't lining up again.
