Bluetooth iPod adapter for 2006? (1 Viewer)

Has anyone used one of the plug in Bluetooth iPod adapters for the Bluetooth in a 2006? I want to connect my iPod to the car, but don't really want to spend the money for one of the full hardwire adapter kits.

Anyone used one? Did it integrate? If so, how well or poorly did it work?

FYI, I think I answered my own question with some Google searching. It looks like to get Bluetooth to work correctly the destination device (in this case the head unit) would need to support the A2DP protocol. It does not seem that this is included in any Lexus (and presumably Toyota) models until the 2010 model years.

Correct. Our 100 LC's don't support it.
