In installing this new HU plus a power amp the paperwork says to use the Blue/White wire as an auto antenna relay or amp remote turn on. It's that word "or" that's got me wondering so I need some Mud experience - can I split it to go both ways or is there some kind of voltage limit or something?

someone else may know more but i think that yes, you need to tie all three wires together. All it does is tell the antenna and the amp to turn on. The main power is coming off of another line. I have a 93 so I don't have the whole antenna turn on thing.

If you only have blue with white stripes then wire it to both. If you also have a blue wire then it will usually be for the antenna and the blue with white will be your amp turn on. If you are only switching one amp and the antenna you should be fine. If you start switching more devices you may need to use a relay depending on the head unit and the milliamp requirements of the device being triggered.
