Hi Larry,
After it had been down after Morgan's server crash last June, TLCA resurrected the LCML right around Christmas, and it was up until the TLCA was banned from our host just before the end of January. TLCA Webmaster Matt Farr has moved us to a new host and has been busy getting things re-set up, but last I checked a couple days ago the List was not yet set up anew. Hang in there, it is a lot of work.

One of my customers a the shop joined via this deal on my recommendation, he got a confirmation from Blue Ribbon but nothing from TLCA, I told him I would ask.....

Butch, the TLCA / Blue ribbon join process goes thru the Blue ribbon first.. Then they send batches to the TLCA. They send them in batches of about 150-200 at a time. (approx once a week) They are processed by the TLCA as fast as possible when they arrive and the new membership packets go out as fast as possible. We have to use our mailbox and our neighbors. One problem we're running into is the lack of anticipated volume of "stuff" needed to process the increased volume. Keeping up with membership letters and processing materials has been a chore. Fed ex dropped off letters and envelopes at about 830 sat morning when I was moving cabinets in the garage. (heard the diesel idling in the driveway first)
If you have further questions send the Admin an email and she can check on the status for you. if it was recent it's probably still in transit. If it's older then something might be wrong and she needs to know.
I'm not sure if Jenn was waiting on those letters and envelopes I carried up sat am or not to process a batch but if she was they'll probably be mailed out tomorrow and Wed.
Hope your weather down there is much better than ours. I'm tired of Ice and snow.
Holler if you need anything else. I"m more of a grunt for the tlca, carrying boxes up and down the steps and helping to stuff envelopes when asked, Taking stuff to the mailbox in the snow.. Other than that ya have to holler at Jenn..

Any updates as to new members vs. renewals to this point?
IIRC they were 87-13 (or 83-17?) renewal vs new as of our last BOD meeting 2/28/10. Somewhere around there. We have determined to salt the funds away because we know we can't count on that renewal cash for the rest of this year. Casey said that he was going to provide more info soon on both the plan to stay prudent (yippee! we got all this money!! Let's go spend it!!! NOT!!!!) and provide an estimate of month by month cash flows for the rest of the year.
