Hopefully someone can give me some advice. i have a 2006 100 series TD. While towing and accelerating to 3000rpm the car started chugging and then the turbo pipe split causing a loss of power. The pipe that has split is the hard plastic pipe that runs through wheel arch to the turbo from the intercooler behind the front grill. photo attached, pipe highlighted yellow has split.
Can anyone give me some insight as to what could have caused the chugging which has obviously created a build up of pressure and caused the pipe to split.
