Hi all,
A year ago I swapped the headlights on my 2011 Tundra with aftermarket led ones from eBay. I have the self levelling feature so I just disconnected and wrapped in plastic. Well the lights started fading and I kept blowing headlight bulbs so I put the oem back in. I continued to blow left headlight bulb every week or so and realized I hadn’t reconnected the self levelling connector. Once I did he bulb blowing stopped. Seems like that may have be the cause?
I’m now looking to change headlights again and go with a better quality product but I’m leery I may be inviting the bulb blowing issue again.
Does anyone have experience with this and if so have you found a way to address it?
Thanks
Mike
