Nice rig doc tari
I would go the full hog with a 6 cylinder diesel for a work truck.
12HT with a intercooler will get you there with plenty of grunt left for pulling a loaded caravan or a five wheel camper.

I can take some pictures when the snow is gone we are having one hell of a winter here. What sucks also is I bought the truck last Oct and I only took it out 2 or 3 times on short runs and have yet got to really enjoy it.

If your a shy person I would not drive one the first time I pulled into the gas station everyone was looking at it and a few guys walked up asking questions.

Thanks ozcruiser. I've wanted a 45 LP-B for a very long time and this one just appeared for sale one day just 2 km from my house.

I've been considering the 12HT but they seem harder to find. I've also wondered about finding spare parts in the future since they seem rarer than the B-series engines. With a larger displacement I would expect a bit more grunt and I expect being a 6 instead of a 4, they're probably much smoother. What has your experience been?
