Blinking CDL light

I’m new to the IH8mud forum. I purchased a 2015 LC with 90k in early 2021 06 Aug. and had the 90 k full fluid exchange at my local Toyota Dealership. The next day I back out the LC and saw transmission fluid on my garage floor, returned to Dealership and all it was, was a broken plastic washer under my transmission bolt. All is well, until a few days go by and I notice the blinking CDL advisory light blinking in amber / orange color. As I drove it the light continued to blink, I stopped and turned off the engine and the light stopped blinking, I’ve done this several days in a row and same result. Fast forward to today, 2021 27 Aug., I haven’t driven the LC for two days now and wondered if I go start the engine and see if the CDL light starts blinking again, well after starting the LC in the afternoon after the temp in the garage was raised the light never came on while initially starting the engine. What could be the problem, bad 4 Hi sensor or what? Any help would be greatly appreciated. GTR

Tons of threads on this, but I’ll speed up the process for you. First thing you should do is get the transfer case warm and exercise the CDL a few times. this may resolve issue. Otherwise see below thread for more detail and solutions.
