Removed from a 71 parts Pig I purchased with a running F.5
To answer any questions that, I'm sure, may be forthcoming regarding the condition.
As part of an ongoing restoration, I've accumulated parts in various conditions, some are duplicates through circumstance, some triplicates.
I'm glass blasting all, inspecting for damages that need to be addressed, originally with the intent to spray 202 after epoxy primer to all parts before storing or selling, hopefully keeping all consistent color inside the engine bay that'll be the final home of kept components.
I've been advised that there may be other coatings/processes superior to my plan that coincide better with the level of restoration I intend as the finished product, so the parts I'm keeping are being repaired and primed for future, simultaneous coating of choice, priming because it may be a year before needed.
Regardless, the rust is surface as easily removed by whatever method chosen.
