Blank switch on 2003+ center stack

I searched (looked through the first page of the results that is)...,.

What is the blank switch for on the center stack for? Next to the defrost, rear climate, mirror heater switches.... Drives me nuts. Anyone?

I think some markets had the flux capacitor as standard equipment. It wasn't offered in the NA market.

The blank has an actual switch behind it for the rear heater. Since your truck has rear AC the controls for the rear heater are incorporated in that controller and thusly the rear AC switch.
