So I'm looking to see where to install a new switch for auxillary lights when I find behind a blank "dumby cover" a wiring harness for something to be plugged into there. (This the top left blank in the cluster of push button switches). What's this for and what can I plug in? Please don't tell me its pre-wired for roof lights. I already wired those and broke my windshield in the process. :frown:

Thanks in advance for your help.

Thanks I guess. This really stinks.
Have you used this for lights? What type of plug matches this?

Thanks.

The roof light wires are wrapped in foam. I noticed the wire inserted into the blank when I was wiring my driving lights. I believe it was a pink conecter. No idea what its for. But I do know that the foam covered one is for roof lights. You hook the switch to it and the factory roof light harnes plugs into the other end in the A pilor(driverside).

it's pretty common for most manuf's to run one wiring harness, no matter what accessories are installed....cheaper that way

hi there , so the 3rd blank dummy switch (on the top row) is pre-wired for the A-Trac, ok , and the top left for the 2WD LSD, the second one for the rear diff lock, that leaves the top right that is also wired to a dummy switch : for the optional sub woofer , i don't see the one for the roof lights...!? anyboy knows ? the 2 bottom middle ones are for the power inverter and parking sonar ...
thanks Erick.
