Recently went wheeling in South SHore, Mass. with a buddy I met though his YouTube site early last year. His name is Kevin, and I want to recruit him into Yankee Toys. Kevin has a serious 4th gen 4Runner like mine, only his is a V8 Limited, while mine, as seen in this video, is a V6 Sport Edition. I just got some new tires for my rig, Mastecraft ATs, in 265 70 17, replacing 265 65 17, slight upgrade. I must say, these tires are impressive, much better suited than the Toyo HTs they replaced. In this video, I crawl up this hill without much trouble which is harder than it looks, but the Jeep guy behind me with 35" tires and other mods had a real difficult go of it. I continued to be amazed what 4Runners can do bone stock, but after initial skepticism when I first considered buying a 4th gen 4R, this thing has turned out to be much more capable than I dared imagine. I had a great time at FG in 2017, and had more fun here. Here you go, enjoy:
