Blacked out emblems (2 Viewers)

Does Anyone have any info on LX600 black emblems and/or has anyone done this yet for their LX600? I don’t want to do the plasti dip so I’m looking for new (I have scene on eBay that have LX600 In black but no LEXUS. I’d be interested in overlays too, like the GX 550 kit. I reached out to the eBay seller (dealer in AZ, and he said Lexus doesn’t make it yet?)

Crazy I was about to measure the LEXUS and send it to the guy that is selling the black LX600 on ebay. I asked him a few months ago and he told me to measure it. I am pretty sure i am going to black out my black fsport.

I think I will buy dark appearance window trim, door handles, and mirrors.

I just removed mine with dental floss, and cleaned with 3M super weatherstrip adhesive remover. Why a $1,200 black trim appearance package came with chrome emblem and characters…

I can’t tell if the stuff on eBay is properly sized and/or good quality.

Are the overlays for the Lexus on the GX not the same size?

My next option would be to call a body shop buddy of mine and see what they could do to
Paint the “chrome”.

The eBay seller said the GX overlays were not the same size.

I just talked to a guy who painted them on his LX600...seems like this is the only route to go without buying the black sticker ones on ebay. I am going to talk to my bodyshop guy and see if they can do that....as well as paint that lower trim piece by the trailer hitch that is grey/silver and looks so out of place in my opinion.

Bumping up this thread if anyone is still interested in doing black emblem overlays and wants to see what they look like. I just put them on, and I think they look awesome. Ordered them on ebay from Lexus of Roseville, and they arrived in just a few days. Took maybe 2 minutes to put on.

One of my LX600's has the black emblems from factory and they are nice, but the only issue is that since they affix over the silver ones they are thicker, and so the fonts appear a bit fat, and not as clean and sharp. There's always a trade-off.

Not sure if that's something you want to mess with because that's where the radar sits. It could mess with the ACC

That is my concern. Thought about PPF that is tinted or something like that. But don't want to get Safety Sense warnings....
