...doing what she does best. Making me happy. Just a few shots of her doing her thing. Feel free to post pics of your rigs. The top two are from a day trip to Tahuya with yohavos. The last is the trail to Surprise Lake.

Here are a few more from our trip down to the Yakima/Ellensburg area. One of yohavos' '97 with lockers, "Elsie Wagon".

Did you retrofit HID projectors into the housings or just use HID bulbs??

The previous owner did retrofit the HID projectors. They are from a Acura TSX, I believe. Nice and bright.

Recent work: did a compete rebuild of the front axle. Went with Longfields. Replaced the inner oil seal as well. Also had both drive shafts balanced and phases and new U-joints all around from Kurt at Cruiser Outfitters. She's still running like a champ.

Some pictures. Hands were too dirty to take any good pics.

Some other things that have been done. Most of it was done a while ago and I'm just now getting around to posting it.

FIXED!!!

Pulled my third member and had the inner and outer pinion bearings replaced. Also, had the backlash and preload reset. Just got done putting the third member back in tonight. The whirring noise is completely gone. Nice and quiet inside of the cab of old Black Betty now. I'm glad that's over with.

Looks like I will need to replace my rear axle seals now. LOL!!! If it's not one thing, it's another.

Rule of thumb is to replace everything 1 x then going back 2-3 x. That's the way I do it anyway

Sent from my hawn finga using IH8MUD

I'll definitely do that now. The seals showed no signs of leaking when I pulled the 3rd member so I didn't see much need to replace them. Now I do and I will replace both of them while I'm at it.

Rolled 150K today.
