I am sorry and happy to say my 1997 Landcruiser is for sale. I'm sorry because I love this truck - a lot of care has been put into it! However, I'm happy to part with it because the next car is looking like a new 911 or Audi :D EDIT: - I ended-up with a M5 instead.

So, it is a 1997 Toyota Landcruiser in Black with a Beige leather interior. There are 137K on the crusher - I bought it with 119K in August of 2007 and it has been a daily driver with ZERO problems. It took me 6 months to find a truck this clean, searching between Arkansas and New York. I've taken off the OEM (Toyota) gold package and most of the OEM wood-grain stick-ons. It does have the 3rd row, but no lockers - don't need them for a beach truck.

I can't remember exactly everything I've done, but here's my best recollection:

  • 33 inch BFG Mud terrains
  • Black steel wheels
  • clear side markers
  • clear turn signals
  • black Toyota front logo
  • Pioneer AVIC-D3 nav
  • Pioneer integrated Sirius
  • Pioneer integrated iPod
  • Brand new Toyota exhaust (installed last week)
  • Brand new Magnaflow Cats (installed last week)
  • Replaced a few small OEM pieces like the arm rest and stuff like that
  • Yakima Roof Racks

I still have the stock wheels and tires, stock light housings, and anything else I replaced with an aftermarket part - these are included.

Price was $12,500 -now is- EDIT: *$11,600 OBO* and I have the title in hand. I can be reached by PM here, by email at alex.snyder.cfmc@gmail.com or by phone at 757 692-6432.

Now, onto the photos:

Unfortunately, I got stuck in the sand at Ocracoke. Wish I had lockers.

I've been driving on the beach ever since I was old enough to....and a few times when I wasn't (thanks Dad!). I have never gotten stuck. I even drove a VW Jetta down to the Buxton point, but it was after the sand was super-packed. I have a hard time believing a Landcruiser getting stuck is the fault of not having lockers.

Thanks for the bump though :meh:
