Hi all,

I was guided by a Toyota passionate to this forum, I am new and happy to have found this community. Thanks for that. After dreaming years of an expedition camper I recently got a BJ75, that was modified with the 1HZ motor (and turboglide). At the moment I am working on the camper, especially changing the full camper interior, electrical installations, ...
I have noticed one particular problem of water entering the cabin at the drivers side, on the photos you can clearly see the soaked insulation. I have removed all the covers and the insulation, and believe it runs in at the corner behind the clutch pedal. Is this a common problem? Any advice on solving it?

Regards
Sebastian

Hello,

Welcome to the madness.

Your 75 Series has a fold down windshield. It has a seal at its base that sometimes leaks into the interior.

Your windshield weatherstrip may not be sealing properly on the driver's side, thus leaking water into the interior.

You should check the windshield seal and weatherstrip.

Hope this helps.
