Bj74 towing capacity

does anybody know what the max tow weight of a bj74, looking at buying a tent trailer. thanks lot Travis

Not sure if this helps but here goes.

I have towed a 1200lb car hauler with my 86' BJ70 and it did very well (did not used the trailer brakes). My 86' bj70 has 3B with AXT turbo so it is pushing just a bit more than a 13BT and the 70 weighs a little less than a 74, however the 13BT is direct injected. so if the tent trailer is less than 1200lbs you are pretty safe.
