Ok, thanks. One more (stupid?) question: can i use the locking mechanisms from a 60 on the 73 diffs ? Are they he same ?
The OEM bj73 lockers are vey rare here, i'm hoping to use the lockers off a 60 series.
The actual handles are different between the 60 series and 70 series. The 60 has them somewhere between the front seats and the 70 series has them by the hood release. I would think one can make the 60 style work.

Hello,

It is a matter of cable routing. I would like to see those mid-seat handles on a 70 Series.

So just to be sure i have this right, the 60 series cable locking mechanism can be switched over to the BJ73 fully floating diffs ? No need for the diffs to be or have anything... special to make this work, any FF BJ73 diffs will work ?

Again, yes and no. I believe you will have to put a notch in axle housing where the third member bolts in. As to if the axles are the same for locked or not axles you will need to check if the part numbers are the same or not between the two options.

I think i got it now, thank you :)
I may open a thread with the build, once i actually start building it, not just planning for it.
