BJ73 front axle seal (1 Viewer)

anyone have a part # for the front axle seal on an '87 BJ73? Mine left me a nice puddle under my DS tire this morning... right after I changed out the fluid! Is this sometimes caused by a clogged breather hose? I assume Toyota will have this part? Thanks...

I'm gonna pull my hair out, looks like both sides are now leaking again after a full rebuild kit was installed 2 years ago... does anyone have bad luck with cheap inner seals coming in these rebuild kits? I can tell you the last thing i feel like doing is THIS FRONT END AGAIN! ANOTHER $200 AND FULL WEEKEND OF CLEANING PARTS AND GREASE?

I took my time and was careful of tourques, tell me this is just not my misfortune? Any comments?

Try the "MarlinCrawler" heavy-duty inner axle seals. You can get 'em from any number of MUD venders.
