BJ70 on Metcalf in Overland Park

I saw a nice looking 70 series in lawrence last night, about 10pm at 10th and Mass. I think it had a snowboard on the roof rack. I was driving so I couldn't get my cellphone up to take a pic. Was that the same one perhaps? There can't be too many of them around.

That seems about right....it was dark and I was trying to make a left turn across traffic without killing pedestrians while gawking at the truck. Of course, the 70 driver wouldn't have picked me out since I was in my VW and not my 60. Normally I would have turned and gave chase, but they wouldn't have understood a crazy guy in a volkswagon chasing them down the same way as if I'd been in my Cruiser. Granted, I'd have a better shot at catching them in the VW than in my cruiser.

It definitely had a roof rack with a snowboard or something on it as well. The color of that one seems about right. I'm trying to recall if it had a bullbar on it.
