BJ70 - Did Not Come With a Heater, is a Retrofit Available?

All, my BJ70 is from Central America and did not come with a heater. It has A/C, but no heater. I'd like to bring it back North with me - but it will need a heater for the colder winter weather. I know many have added A/C, but has anyone added heat? What kind of an undertaking would this be?

everything's all there for a retrofit but it'll be a slow time consuming job you'll probably end up taking most if not all of the dash out to get one in there

You're right, it will likely be slow, time consuming and will probably touch almost every part of the dash! At least it's a relatively simple dash. My bigger concern is actually finding the parts! Anyone have any leads or suggestions? Is there some kind of aftermarket unit that could be cleanly installed?

I have some heater cores available from 70 series in Texas and can bring the complete setup from Europe if you want.

Hello,

It should be a bolt-on job once you get the heating core.

Since you already have A/C, most of the hardware is already there.
