would a four wheel camper be a possibility for a bj 45?

could make an excellent comb for expedition use. what do you think?

There a number of European companies that do these conversions. We occassionally see one pass through Calgary. They usually look our club up in advance and we all meet somewhere to ogle the truck. I have often thought about doing something like that to my 45.

yer i have seen some of those, they are cool.

what's the 45 legal payload capacity?

I'd do a lot of shopping around to ensure it going to be tough enough for proper offroad work... I've seen a lot of these things sitting on 4wd's in showrooms that would fall apart off the bitumen.

Theres a couple of very good offroad manufactureres of slip-on camers in Australia. Most of our contry has just voted in a socialist idiot so our dollar will crash pretty soon and you can get one cheap!

Hi All:

There was a Swiss fellow by the name of Roland that passed through Seattle a few years ago is a custom BJ45-based camper conversion. If I remember correctly the rig was a BJ45 pick-up that had the bed deleted and a custom fiberglass camper body added.

The truck looked somewhat similar to this rig, but I don't seem to have any photos.

Regards,

Alan
