bj 75 clutch booster question

Clutch works fine with little effort when the booster vacuum line is disconnected, when I connect it the clutch goes all the way to the foor and pretty much stops working. Any ideas? Any problem with just plugging the booster and leaving it disconnected?

Remove booster and install non-boostered master cylinder.

I agree with Beno. If the booster is failing, eliminate it.
