Any idea of how bad it is yet? Let us know when you've made an assessment and can use some extra wrenching hands.

i know roughly how bad it is....im not sure when/or i will be getting my truck back though, the extent of the physical damage isnt too bad...smashed up tuffy console, ignition key cylander is gone, couple dents and a paint job...insurance had it towed to one of their yards and im trying to jump through the hoops to get something sorted out with it, apperently the damage was assesed around the 4k mark mostly im thinking because of the paint...i dont really know what will happen from here, my claim is on hold until i pay a fine and im waiting for the letter so i can pay it. i know i dont want it written off because then i loose it pretty much so i think what im shooting for is a pay out from ICBC and fix the stupid thing myself, im not sure what will end up happening...will keep you guys posted and thanks for the offer on the wrenching hands, i may yet take you up on it as i have very very little in the way of tools here. everything is back in bc (welder, torch, all my hand tools, impact tools, compressor yadda yadda..spent the last few years getting everything together then i bugger off for school...go figure)

A new low is right. We cant even trust the guys we wave at. a couple months ago i started taking my coil wire off. Im suprised he was driving it around. your lucky it didnt get in to a garage.

Hmm... :hhmm: You have a green 40..... How do we know you didn't take it? But then again, I have a green 40 too.:censor::bang:

Yes. You're very lucky. Glad you got it back... in decent shape and quickly too.

Yeesh! I have a BJ42 also and have been worried about theft. I'll definitely think of a kill switch now. The other day I looked out my window to see a guy in a cruiser had pulled into the condo parking lot to have a look at mine. I made sure to take down his license plate before he left and had a nightmare it'd been stolen overnight.

In the meantime get yourself a baby monitor. That's what I did for Agent O when she used to sit outside the Gopher Hole one summer when there was a lot of stealing going on at night after hours. Got a unit that ran off a battery, put it under the seat and then slept with the other end by head. Worked like a charm and I had no complaints until one morning when Peter and Marc showed up and started rattling the door handles, lurching me awake instantly

ratpuke, green 40 shh dont tell any one, maybe we both did it. just keep it on the down-low

im suprised he painted it, he should have done a frame-off. hopefully insurance takes a good look at the prices of cruisers.
