Anyone buy anything from BIOR recently?

I'm wondering if there's a preferred way to get a hold of the man as I emailed on Saturday / left a message and haven't heard back.
UPDATE: He responds to everything within a day. His email to me bounced.. don't want to tarnish any names.

Was curious how long it took to fab + ship as I'd like to order ASAP to fit it into one massive upgrade being planned!

Ordered a bumper a few weeks ago and it was 1 month lead time, 3-5 days to build, a week to powder coat, then shipping.

Slee is out 2+ unknowns months while their supplier moves... so BIOR it is!!

Which one you guys getting? Any unusual specifications?

I'm going HC rear and have asked for heavier spindles, assuming they will fit (should know soon).

Mike PMd me right away... it seems his return email was blocked for some reason so I never got it! He was super helpful / nice guy. Can't wait to grab a bumper!

Decisions decisions...

Probably going... bolt on rear, tire carrier, ladder with rotopax, heavy spindles. I have no special considerations. Do you guys? I saw somebody getting a backup LED cutout. I also wonder where the license place should go.

I'm deciding about whether to replace the tow hitch or not. Sounds like I get more clearance.. I mean, I've run into so many things with that thing (it's makes compressed dirt cubes) and my understanding is that its' extremely easy to cut.

Any opinions on the impact of cutting?

Mike was great to work with when I bought my rear a few months ago. He will give you advice and opinions and, at the end of the day will build you what you want. Best advice is to be honest with yourself about what you need/want and let him do his thing. Perfectly happy with my bumper and would buy again with no hesitation.

6 weeks on mine from order to freight terminal pickup

it was the holiday season

now it sits in my garage x4 weeks because its miserable weather here in nj

cant wait to get it on

looking back i shouldve gotten the second swingout with a jerry can holder

i thought the spindles were always gonna be there for a future upgrade

its custom built for your needs and not a modular piece you can build like arb

so make the decision based on your current and future needs, i shouldve gotten the second swingout and removed it when i didnt need the jerry can holders

my bad so my addvise is to get a consult with your needs both current and future

now i wish i had some help with the install

Dang four weeks? I couldn't possibly wait that long...

Thanks for the heads up.. I will definitely grab a ladder + rotopax even though I don't need it.

Besides, I'm hooked and don't see this being my last cruiser anyways. This is a purchase spread over years. I am royally hooked and it ain't even funny!

Mike told me this morning that my bumpers and sliders are at the powder coaters. :bounce: He's been more than accommodating for me, as I'm having him to a a little customization to the front bumper that we've been going back and forth on for months. I also wanted a color matched powder coat which he did the leg work on, sent me a sample, etc; he's gonde above and beyond in my opinion, excellent customer service!

I will be working in northern Jersey for the next three weeks (Monday - Friday). PM me if you are up that way (I am working in West Milford, staying in Haskell) and want a hand getting things started some weekday evening, I'd be happy to help.

I installed the high-clearance rear bumper w/ dual swing arms on my truck about a year ago.
