Does anyone know the proper part no for the rear bilstein 5100, i think i'm gonna got 6112 and i know the part no is the same as the tundra for i can't seem to find the proper rear, the tundra 5100's the eyes are too small and the valving may not be ideal

Just know that the rear shocks for a Tundra are NOT direct bolt-on for a 200 like the fronts, so if you get a Tundra "kit" you'll have headaches. Also, the upper arms are different length for a Tundra versus a 200. You'll need to use Tundra lower arms to use those uppers.

Also, if you want to stick with 5100s in the rear, then you'll need to get a set of Bilstein 33-187174. These are for a FJ Cruiser with 2" lift. They have the same diameter lower mounting eye as the 200 and are almost an exact match on length. I would have gone this route but I didn't find out about them until I already ordered my Fox IFPs for the rear.

decided to go with bjowett's recommendation of the bilstein 5100 24-238885 shocks instead of the ones in the thread above.......the thread above recommends shocks for the fjcruiser and although they will fit and dimensions are almost identical the valving may be different since it is for a lighter vehicle the ones bjowett recommends are for the fjz80 which is probably a heavier car and valving may be better matched to the 200 series. looking forward to getting this installed. also ordered the 2721 rear springs and spc uca's. i paid $1460 total for the front 6112 shocks and springs, rear arb springs, front spc uca's and rear 5100 shocks

Brian @bjowett knows this setup well. I tested three different rear shocks for him with the 6112 fronts.

yes brian, certainly knows his stuff and he's invested a lot of time and money to get the R&D done and I owe it to him to support him. Unfortunately he said he was getting out of suspensions to concentrate his efforts elsewhere and wasn't able to source the parts for me

UGH, OK. Well I'll stop pluggin Brian for the Bilstein swap. Maybe someone wants to pickup where Brian left off and I'll share what I learned over 6 months.

Between continued parts shortages and distributors upping prices, it's just not worth carrying on with the Billys.... the prices I need to charge are above market value. I'd rather share the info and have folks get the value out of the system. I'll continue on with developing my own parts.... which is where I need to be.
