I use a Thule Round Trip. It has a bike stand built in. It's superior to my EVOC bike bags but is a little heavier so you may bump the airline's weight limits for checked in luggage if you have a heavier bike.

getting packed to fly with the bikes this weekend. this is the process of this scicon bag.

wheels and pedals off. bike stands on the built in stand

then there is padding to go around the tubes. there is a nice handlebar bag that protects it while velcroing it to the fork. there is a bag for “stuff” pedals etc that goes inside the rear fork there is a derailleur bag that pads it too

then the wheels go in their pockets
more padding and the sides then zip up

once it’s all zipped up it comes with some locks that lock the zippers together. apparently they are airport approved so they can be opened by security personal 🤷‍♂️. anyway there’s

lots of nice features. now to see how the bike fares as well as the bag! i’ll report back when im home.

by the way once i figured out what i was doing it took about 1/2hr to pack the second bike

it’s really well made and has so many little details. i’m blown away with how many little things were thought out actually. now it’s just the real world test on friday!!

we made it and everything is fine despite them coming out upside down on the conveyor belts at the airport 🙄 the airport also lost one of my zipper locks 😡
