so where, other than pinkbike, can you find used mountain bikes for sale online? there are four times as many canadian ads as us ads on pinkbike so i assume i must be missing the great american used bike classifieds website.

Funny story about bikes and CL...

Go to my LBS and there is a regular there that bought a bike off CL and it's a bit too big for him and wanted to know if there was anything he can do to make it fit better. Long story short he posts it for sale on CL and arranges for the sale to take place out in front of the LBS. He met wup with a couple fellas who happened to be undercover cops looking for stolen bikes on CL. They read the serial number and confirmed it was reported stolen out of a Sport Chalet. He had to go through the hassle of showing e-mails and text messages between the original seller and himslef. After a trip in the squad car.
