The Big Sky Overland Rally is happening August 3-5th at the historic Sacajawea Park in Livingston Montana. If you haven't bought your tickets yet, head over to bigskyoverlandrally.com . This is its inaugural year, and we are working hard to make it a really fun event! We have a few great instructors and our location is killer: right on the banks of the Yellowstone River, 1 hour from Yellowstone National Park and within walking distance of the vibrant downtown of Livingston.
The annual event will feature a trade show area with vendors, manufacturers, outfitters and non-profit organizations. Class offerings will include vehicle-based topics such as off-road driving, repair, recovery as well as more expansive topics like international travel and fly-fishing. Attendees can also participate in guided trail runs, social events and prize drawings.
At its core, it’s a reason for fellow travelers, outdoor recreationists, campers and vehicle enthusiasts to get together and celebrate the overlanding community. It’s also an opportunity to showcase the beautiful state of Montana (the “Big Sky State”), its outdoor recreation opportunities and its local businesses.
I'd like to open up this thread to help attendees coordinate their trips, and to ask questions - I'll be on regularly to answer them.
(can't make it this year? please hop on our email list to put it on your calendar next year!)
