Haha i usually avoid the crowded scenes and prefer more of an overlanding drive where you cross the desert for hours without seeing another vehicle.
I did however head to those areas a couple of times but that was before i had a proper 4x4.
And yes i did out climb the patrol on that hill

I actually don't like the big group stuff either - not because of the people but how they tend to just trash the place with their garbage.
(I gave my PRO the paperwork for my Jeep's DXB tag - I hope to have that "legal" stuff resolved this week and then send it out for repairs).
Thebedouin60 / Desert Nomad - I didn't show you guys last time I was out past Liwa on the Saudi Boarder doing some testing. I didn't expect the dunes to be as big as they were and drove over the end and bent the hell out of the rear axle. Once either the Jeep or Trooper is back up and running I wanted to go back out there.

Wow! What is that vehicle? I can't believe you bent that axle. That must have been some hit!
I also usually avoid crowds but this video was an exception, i went in with the intent of showing them the offroad culture out here in all its shapes and forms. I'm glad i was able to do that all from the comfort of my 200 and even happier that Mike enjoyed it just as much.
