I just got a set of five from "the Rack" shipped from the Reno location, one day to SF. Had them mounted up and they feel great. They came a week earlier than they said they would. Ordered them on 3/08. They are mounted on my stock Toy rims with hubcaps.

I am thinking about getting the steel rock crawler pro comp wheels and wondering if they will even mount tires on them after the initial fitting - like they would do the initial install and then I come back x0000 miles later and they are like "we can't do that now."

i had them mount tires on my new rims and installed them when i got home i.e. they'll mount loose tires and rims. i bet they'll still decline to mount same size replacements when the time comes, and i have yet to test the "free rotations and top up the tires with N2" policy

Update: Costco would NOT mount 31x10.5x15 on my stock rims. They actually mounted two of them, then called me to say they can't mount them due to policy. They dismounted those two, and remounted and balanced my cracked and bald tires. I bought the tires, and they refunded the mounting and disposal charge.

I've had this problem before with them. If not a size tire the car maker originally put on the vehicle they won't do it. They also won't mount on multi-part wheels. fwiw.

Try Americas, they'll mount anything. They mounted a 33x13.5 on my stock 6.5" as a spare.
