Just recently bought a 2020 gx460 with 3 in toytec lift, 20 in after market rims and 305/50/r20 tires. If you were to buy new tires, what would you buy for a smoother/quieter ride and better handling? If you were to switch out rims and tires, what would be the optimal combo for tighter handling and smoother overall street driving?

When converting 305/50R20 to inches, it is equivalent to 32x12R20.

That’s a wide tire for its height. Wide tires suck on pavement.
The tire you’ve got on doesn’t look very street friendly.
When choosing a street tire, look at the tires that originally came with the vehicle (whatever they were) and don’t stray too far from that. The tighter and less aggressive looking the tread, the quieter and nicer they’ll run on pavement.

Ok. Any reccs on a new tire size and particular tire from experience (assuming I stick with current rims)?

You'd probably get more help and responses in the lively GX forum. This one is for the LX600/LC300 which there aren't too many of right now.
