So my wife and I have been going back and forth on this discussion. Should we just have a company weld in tow bar brackets to the LC behind the OEM bumper, or is it possible to weld the brackets directly to and aftermarket ARB or similar? We need to flat tow the truck behind our 40 ft. coach bus. Is it cheaper to pay for a $1400 bumper and have someone weld brackets right to it, or just skip the bumper and have the brackets welded behind the OEM? I've been doing some research on this but wanted to seek opinions. I'm not super into adding the weight of an ARB bumper just for towing and we don't wheel super hard...someone sway me. I know this has been discussed, but no one mentioned how or where they had their tow brackets welded???

Ok. More searching is turning up more info. This is good. I post a thread, and answer my own question. Next time, more research before the post. That being said, Christo Slee has been flat towing his LX safely, so I'm jumping into the fray.
