Where is the best place to get a cooler for a good price.
I really need one with a drain on it before we do the four days out at the OBX.
Anyone know any that are online for a good price.

Honestly Al, WalMart is going to be you best bet for "everyday" price. You may catch a good sale at Dick's or an outdoor store (Bass Pro Shop). Check their circulars and if they don't have one on sale, head to Wally World :(

al,
I was at the costco over here on Tyvola yesterday and they have 2 really good ones by Igloo. One is pretty large and can hold a ton of stuff. We folded down my rear seat in my 62 and it fit perfect. The other is a little smaller....

That's starting to get into ARB territory with that price.

We sold these at the tackle store I worked at in college and they are great coolers. Very pricey but if you own a million dollar sport fish then the price of those coolers is chump change :D.

Make sure you get one of the coolers that lasts for 5+ days. We used to have a new decent cooler but would only last a day. It was stolen at Lowes MSW (kids wanted our beer...they took out the hotdogs and threw them on our tailgate) and we bought a Coleman Extrememe performance 5 day cooler. Thing has only been tested up to 2 days but with multiple openings and decent temperatures most of the ice was still in there.

Al I got an Igloo Cube at Walmart, it is supposed to keep cool for a few days and it has a drain. Last year at STR I had to refresh the ice once. I don't recall the exact capacity, and it was less than $30. I am happy with it.
