Norcal, not on fire but it was darn close.
Iv decided to go single stage with a good epoxy primer.
Perhaps a tan kaki or white or cream off white.

Iv watched a hundred youtube videos on this.

My question for Larry king is this:

1. What is an easy color for a FJ40 that will fetch a good "Value" not that I want to sell it.
2. Whats an easy color to hide imperfections in the work done?

im looking at $3000 for glass Blasting, priming, frame painting and paint from a "local car guy" who has blasting equipment for a "Pretty good paint job" nothing fancy...not show quality but off road worthy,

He is doing this in his shop where he said already he thinks it has a chance of dust fall out, but he did this several time already and fetched in the $20,000 range for frame off.

My issue is I don't think I want a $5000 paint job on a car I will take camping, go to the woods, have my english mastiff ride in, beer spilled in.

Im kind of deciding to go "quick and dirty" and get the rust taken out, rino liner on the floor and get this done.

I have reached tub off status!
