Today went on a trail with some friends that was probably not a good one for a mostly stock cruiser without sliders but it was a lot of fun. Anyways as i was advancing the tire sidewall lost traction of the rock and it hit the back of the wheel arch and bent the rocker panel which bent out the sheet metal from the wheel well and pushed it up underneath :bang:
Minor damage but if you guys have any advice on how to get it back into place or at least looking better than it does now id appreciate it (and yes i did a search before hand, not much success but point one out if you find one) i don't have any pictures right now but ill post some tomorrow. For now i have an example picture case my explanation wasn't to good. Looks like ill be getting sliders before a lift...

If i cant make it look reasonable ill take it to a body shop see what they can work out :censor:

No advice here.... probably best to take it to a shop though. It wont be cheap... I would guess at least $500 and up.

This isnt directed at you but others that may be reading....This is a good example of where sliders pay for themselves. My first time off road I got into a situation where I had no choice but sit the truck on a slider and slide. I always recommend sliders as one of the first mods if some one is going to venture off road... They pay for themselves fast....

It will be more expensive that a set of sliders....At least you got out there and made the best of it.

I wouldn't spend the money to fix that, just put some touch up paint on it if you have exposed steel. Maybe after you put some sliders on, it won't be too noticeable.:meh:

Very true, their next on the priority list

No experience with repairs there just always been told they are VERY VERY expensive and why sliders are money in your bank....and the first thing to buy if you THINK you are going offroad. Every time mine slide, grind or slam onto something I smile...knowing they have saved me yet again.

Good luck...hope it does not cost you too much...
