Pretty Sad affair. The event organizers should be ashamed. A few good beers but overall a massive failure. Raleigh has some catching up to do in the Beer and event hosting realm.

No bands as stated just cheezy radio hosts and radio music when they were not blabbering. Way to many people for the crappers...Could not read what beer was in which tent and the lines just mixed back and forth..most good craft beers were gone within a few hours...who really wants to pay 40 bucsk to drink a shot of budwiser...they only had 2 real BBQ places and couple of fry stands. We stood in one line for 15 minutes and didn't move one foot. I bet we were 2 hours plus back in the line. Yes there was 60 vendors but not beer vendors...who the hell wants jewelery at a beer event.

I highly reccomend you save your money for next year and buy gas for the cruiser.:flipoff2:

The one in Charlotte was supposed to be really good.

Come down to the Charlotte Octoberfest on the 10th of October. 350 different beers:beer::beer:

Sorry to hear that Jason. I was at my folks this weekend for my Mom's birthday, so I never even considered this event. Sounds very similar to the "Taste Of Durham" last year - won't be back!
