Has anyone definitively determined whether or not the factory 16" alloy will fit the later 100's???

I have a 2004 and would like to run the 16 if possible.

Yes. Here is my 2004 with 16" alloys from a 98-02. I recently, with a new set of tires, switched back to the factory 18" alloys. Partially for the tire size I wanted in 18", but also because gravel gets stuck between the brake rotor and inside of the wheel really easily. I spend a lot of time on FS roads and it was getting really annoying.
