This forum has helped me so much throughout my ownership of this amazing vehicle that i finally decided to make an account and hopefully help someone someday.
I bought my 2001 Lx470 April 10 2021 for $16k with about 190k on the Odometer. It was a housewife's grocery getter and was never offroad with tons of maintenance records, it was a no brainer. The interior was in great condition with one slight tear on a seat. Previous owner had just installed the Ironman 4x4 bumper and lift, x-bull wench so definitely scored in that department. I changed the wheels to 17" Icon Alloys w/ 285 70r17 Falken Wildpeak AT3w added Metal Tech 4x4 rocksliders, changed all bulbs to LED and a few other misc. Items.

Welcome! Did the grille come partially blacked out or did you do that too? It looks great! I'm still deciding what to do to my white LX: buy a custom grille or go the Plasti-Drip route.

I think the previous owner used spray paint. It's staring to fade and crack and the chrome trim is peeling so I have plans on using HyperDip to blackout the whole thing since the grill gets a lot of wear and tear,it should hide all the blemishes.

I'll see if can do it soon so you can get an idea of the outcome.
