It's beena while since I posted. I blew a head gasket a while back and have been in the rebuilding process. I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. I had the head milled .11 and have installed the new HG and the manifold is back in place. Got the carb on and have adjusted the valves (cold) all I have left to install is the Valve cover, put oil back in, coolant and such and put back the air filter and all those hoses. I just wanted some advice on what I should look for when restarting after this long apart. Anything I need to think about or should remember? How much oil do I need, I think it's 8 quarts as per the fsm. I know there are things I am missing. I am very newb at this repair thing and don't want to mess all the work up.

Any advice is always appreciated.
